11th Annual Youth Entrepreneurship Competition

Congrats to all winners and participants!

Cheylin Junior and Senior High students participated in the 11th annual Youth Entrepreneurship Competition on March 9th. The competition series is a NetWork Kansas program. This year, participants were required to prepare an executive summary, a four minute presentation, and a tradeshow display of their business. 

Awards were given for the top three businesses, as well as two community awards. The results of the competition are as follows:

First Place ($500): Ketzner Feed Roasted Gold, Dylan and Brady Ketzner

Second Place ($300): Hendricks Hawaiian, Matthew Hendricks

Third Place ($200): Dart's Free Range Eggs & Poultry Products, Alex Dart

Community Award ($50): Saving Grace, Grace Sabatka

Community Award ($50): JB Mower Repair, Jackson Boyson

 

The first place winners automatically qualify for the state entrepreneurship competition to be held on April 28th at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS.
