Lady Cougars Gear Up For Season
The high school volleyball team held a soap scrimmage on Thursday, August 29th to get ready for their 2019 season. The Lady Cougars showed off their skills to family and community members in attendance of the scrimmage. They played a match of the varsity squad against the junior varsity squad followed by a scrimmage against Alumni/members of the community. Fun was had by all playing and watching.
The Lady Cougars start their season with a busy week. On Tuesday, September 3rd, Cheylin will travel to Wheatland to play in a triangular against Wheatland/Grinnell and Northern Valley. The Lady Cougars will host their first of several home games on Thursday, September 5th against Wauneta/Palisade starting at 4:30. The volleyball team will play again on Saturday in Colby against Colby and Burlington starting at 10 a.m. Please come support these ladies and wish them luck on their season!
